While it anticipates that each will generate impressive gains this year, the discrepancies in its forecasts were shocking. This provides a stark reminder that all cryptos perform differently, and calculated investors who position correctly will generate substantially more returns than those who “spray and pray.”

But regarding which projects could yield the most significant returns, ChatGPT threw in a wildcard pick by backing the emerging Bitcoin layer 2 blockchain Bitcoin Hyper. Let’s take a closer look at the AI’s predictions for each of these coins.

XRP to $13 This Year, Says ChatGPT

ChatGPT outlined a bear, base, and bull case for XRP, but stated that it could go even further and reach a price tag of $13 if Bitcoin achieves a $3 trillion market capitalization. Considering that Bitcoin is valued at $2.3 trillion today, that’s less than a 50% price increase, which certainly isn’t impossible.

Besides Bitcoin’s growth, ChatGPT points to U.S. regulatory clarity and a surge in cross-border payment volumes as bullish drivers for XRP. Its base case price range for this year is $5 – $6, leaving room for almost a 2x gain from the current price of $3.1. 

However, it also notes that an ETF approval and subsequent strong inflows could push the price to highs of $10.

Pi Network Primed for 2.2X Markup on Technical Breakout

Pi Network has endured a downtrend since peaking at an ATH of $2.98 in February. Currently trading at $0.44, it’s trading 85% below its peak. Even in its most bullish scenario, ChatGPT o3 does not anticipate that $PI reclaims this level, although it does suggest that there is room for decent gains.

Its base case target eyes a price level of $0.55 to $0.6, translating to almost a 40% return from its current price.

However, the chatbot notes that a clean break above $0.52 signifies a technical breakout and could spark a rally toward $1 or beyond. Hitting $1 would mean a 2.2x from its current price.

ChatGPT Backs Hyperliquid to $75 on CEX Listings, Adoption

Currently trading at $42, Hyperliquid has established itself as the leading decentralized perpetual futures trading platform since its launch in 2023. The project also features innovative tokenomic mechanisms, including buybacks utilizing platform revenue.

ChatGPT anticipates that $HYPE could rally to between $50 and $55 in its base case, although it notes that listings on centralized exchanges and increased adoption could drive its price to highs of $75. From its current $44 price, that marks a 70% increase.

Ultimately, however, ChatGPT cannot foresee an outcome in which Pi Network or Hyperliquid generate comparable gains to those that the best-performing cryptocurrencies are likely to see this year.

And while it suggests XRP could hit $13, marking a 4.1x gain from its current price, the chatbot offers a far more promising prediction for emerging altcoin Bitcoin Hyper.
